Opera Santa Barbara presents
Trouble in Tahiti and Gallantry
Before there was Mad Men – there was Trouble in Tahiti....
Before there was Grey's Anatomy – there was Gallantry…
Trouble in Tahiti is Leonard Bernstein’s witty, haunting take on the “perfect life” of a suburban couple, and is presented in honor of the "Bernstein at 100" centennial year. Douglas Moore’s hilarious Gallantry is a sendup of the American soap opera - complete with commercial interruptions!
Adding to the fun of Opera Santa Barbara's performances of these one-act operas (April 20 & 21) at Center Stage Theater is a free wine tasting. Your ticket includes a tasting from Andrew Murray and Santa Julia wines prior to the 7:40 curtain, and again at intermission.
Two operas, two wines – twice the fun for everyone.
This production is sponsored by the Mosher Foundation and features OSB’s Chrisman Studio Artists, directed by Alison Moritz with Kyle Naig as music director.
