Santa Barbara FestivalBallet presents
Ballet in Bloom
Aimee Lopez, Artistic Director
Enjoy an evening of dance with Santa Barbara Festival Ballet's Spring repertoire concert, Ballet In Bloom. The evening will include the essence of classical ballet with excerpts from the Paquita Grand Pas Classique, first staged by Marius Petipa in 1881. Leaping from the 1800's to today, the performance will showcase the company's diversity and will include the debut of Valerie Huston's Emboité and Brooke Melton's haunting contemporary work As If Heading Nowhere. There will be a special guest performance from the UCSB dance company and a sneak peek at SBFB's new story book ballet, The Tales of Beatrix Potter. Two performances only. Don't miss it.
