Come see Santa Barbara’s premiere youth dance company at the annual sell-out smash, Configuration, presented by Santa Barbara Dance Arts and The Arts Mentorship Program. Perfect for the entire family, Configuration features high-energy hip-hop, evocative contemporary, and entertaining jazz numbers that will leave you dancing in your seat. See award-winning choreography from Los Angeles choreographers Tyne Strickland, Sierra Kazil, and Richard Elszy, plus work from local favorites Sunny Reichert, Chloe Roberts, Emily McKinney, and Alana Tillim. This will mark the debut of our Video Honors Project in partnership with the Inclusion Coalition and PPF to elevate LBGTQIA++ perspectives through the art of dance. Unique to this production, student work shares the stage with professional choreographers; carefully selected nurtured by professional mentors while they compete for a $250 cash prize courtesy of American Riviera Bank will be awarded at the opening evening performance. Patron VIP seating available at all shows.

Patron Ticket: $50
General Admission: $25
Student: $17 (2:00 PM matinee performances only on 3/12 and 3/18)

All seating is general admission unless otherwise noted. For all performances, there is limited late seating once the performance begins. Please plan your arrival time accordingly.

There are no social distancing requirements in place for seating. There are no vaccine or testing requirements at this time. Masks are encouraged but not required. We are continuing our mitigation efforts. The HVAC system for the theater is set to bring in 100% fresh air, we are using CDC-recommended MERV-13 filters, the air is turned over 7.35 times an hour, and we also have portable HEPA air purifiers, and our generous use of hand sanitizer. (thank you to the Santa Barbara Foundation!) All of our staff are fully vaccinated, and performers are either vaccinated or tested negative before performing.
