Center Stage is excited to bring an electrifying new series of jazz concerts featuring professional musicians. The Santino Tafarella Quartet with vocalist Miriam Dance will be the resident house band for each performance and feature a special guest artist. We kick off the series on Thursday, March 28, with special guest Tamir Hendleman.

Driven by our love for music and a desire to create a vibrant jazz community, we envisioned showcasing accomplished musicians from our local scene and beyond. Jazz is America’s unique musical art form and at its core delivers a unifying message. That message champions expressive freedom and individuality while at the same time promoting listening, exchange of ideas, collaboration, and supporting each other's creativity for the music to really “swing.” Our Jazz at Center Stage concert series will continue once a month throughout most of 2024. We hope to continue the series for many years to come!

About our first special guest – Tamir Hendelman

Whether leading the Tamir Hendelman Trio or as a long-time member of the Jeff Hamilton Trio and the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, award-winning pianist-composer Tamir Hendelman is known for his dynamic and sensitive touch and imaginative arranging. Tamir Hendelman has toured and recorded with Natalie Cole (Still Unforgettable), Barbra Streisand (Love Is The Answer, One Night Only: Live at the Village Vanguard), Roberta Gambarini (Easy to Love), and in duo with Tierney Sutton, in venues from the US, Europe, and Japan.

General Admission: $30
Cabaret Table Seating: $50 (includes one drink)
Students & Military w/ID: $20

All seating is general admission unless otherwise noted. For all performances, there is limited late seating once the performance begins. Please plan your arrival time accordingly.
