LA-based musical comedian Stacie Burrows is trying really hard to hold it all together. Facing medical misadventures in the mecca of wellness, former Texan and recovering Jehovah’s Witness, Stacie Burrows clings to her piano, searching for Zen amongst LA’s quakes and quacks. Laughable is not a mental breakdown. It’s a musical comedy!

Stacie Burrows’ life sounds a lot like a country song: She’s a former Texan who drives a truck across Los Angeles with a dog in the back, wearing custom-made boots that were ill-gotten goods from her elderly mother. Stacie receives multiple medical diagnoses back-to-back. Nothing so serious that it could kill her, but annoying enough to drive her to the brink of madness. She was a nervous child in a neighborhood rife with murders. She was excommunicated from the Jehovah’s Witnesses at age 9. And now, she’s a wound-tight wife-artist-mother of two trying too hard to care for everyone but herself.
