Fantazius Live! International Presents

Poetic Licence

A play by Crisman Cooley of The Ecstatic Theatre

Leo Bee has a problem. In a moment of weakness, he signs a contract with his predatory brother George agreeing that if he does not get laid in the next 24 hours, George will be obliged to kill him. Leo has two strikes against him that make his chances for living until tomorrow very slim: first, his studies of poetry have kept him out of the dating scene for twenty years, and second, he's naturally very uncomfortable around women. Luckily, the only other adult living relative of the brothers, Dr. Harry Bee, has an idea. He will give Leo a "Poetic Licence"—a permit to use poetry for seduction. Can our unlikely hero succeed? Can he do it in time?

This show features a lead actor with a split personality and several guest stars, including some members of the audience. Come and join the fun!
