Riding the Currents of the Wilding Wind is a theatrical concert with stories and songs about sharpshooters and earthmovers, helicopters in the sky, and women that fly from Their Dogs Came with Them, the epic novel by Helena María Viramontes. Created by Martha Gonzalez and Virginia Grise and directed by Kendra Ware, the multifaceted sonic landscape—a mix of Mexican and Afro-Cuban rhythms, jazz, funk, rock, and gospel—will be performed live by Martha Gonzalez, Tylana Enomoto, Quetzal Flores, and Juan Perez from the Grammy Award-Winning band Quetzal.

Tickets are free to the public. However, registration is required.
