DRAMADOGS PRESENTS
STOOP
3 One-Acts about Women
DramaDogs presents this high quality theatrical production that touches the heart and soul of all of us. Integrating three thought-provoking pieces, you will contemplate with us as we sit on a stoop discussing the day, the taste of fruit, our aches and pains and what is really floating in the river. Sit with us at the counter of a local diner where we get the inside scoop on what truly inspires the women that serve us. Wait with us inside a liposuction clinic and find out who and what motivates us to do what we do.
DramaDogs crafts challenging theatrical productions with dynamic relationships. In the art we produce, we enter into a process of creation. What we want to express, how we want to express it and the characters we are creating unfolds blossoming before us. Stoop--3 One Acts About Women is the next gem, with Lives of the Great Waitresses by Nina Shengold, The Most Massive Woman Wins by Madeline George, and Stoop by Lanford Wilson. Says E. Bonnie Lewis, co-artistic director of DramaDogs: "These entertaining one acts are filled with humor and pathos providing insights into the many ways we stoop physically, mentally, emotionally.”
“Stoop--3 One Acts About Women” features many of Santa Barbara’s finest actresses, Deborah Helm, Carol Metcalf, Lauren Parsons, Suzi Bodine, and Michelle Osborne. Making their DramaDogs and Santa Barbara debut are Ethel Scar, Dana Halverson, Michelle Wilcox and Rani Apodaca.
