In a modern Europe, ruled by a despotic warrior king and feudal nobles, a band of outlaws began taking in the world’s lost and outcast, offering them protection, education, and subsistence as part of their traveling show.Lead by the witch, Mab, they are, The Wilde Circus. 

Love and loyalty are tested in the most recent installment of original fairy tales in The Wilde Circus Anthology by Sexy Sandwich Productions. Djinn Prince, Ember, a fabled demon conqueror, threatens to wake from his 3,000 year enchantment and wreak havoc. The outlaws of the Wilde Circus have been conscripted by the king’s military police, to slay Ember. Mab’s best friend, Arthur, a former servant of the Djinn Prince, splinters from the Circus to seek out his old master. Titania, the waning ghost of Mab’s lover, does her best to see her circus family through this time of peril as she loses her mind and slowly disintegrates into nothing.

Staring Violet Bast as the Irreverent Ghost of Titania Greene, Meighann Helene as the Militant Princess Vivienne Rougemont, Samantha Bonavia as the Fearless Mab Wilde, Bo Filomia as the Scheming Grey Man Jim Dear, Krystal Freedom as the Compassionate Kythera "Kitty" Wilde, Cory Carillo as the Jeweled Queen Agate, Victor Carrasco as the Gentle Half-Giant Arthur Stone, Donnie Ross as the Cursed Warrior Marais DuBois, Featuring the Faeriefest Faeries Clau Orona Erika Petra and Janelle Richmond as the Willow Sisters. With Jon MacDonald as the Forest God Erlking,Chad Enlow as the Lovestruck Tom, Peter Withers as the Dauntless and Affable Bob , and Randy Moore as the Vicious Prince Ember.

Sexy Sandwich is a non profit theater company founded in 2012 by fire performer and producer Krystal Freedom, and playwright, Violet Bast. Sexy Sandwich uses lush art direction and costuming, traditional stage and shadow puppetry, live actors, and digital multimedia projection art and effects to tell fantastical narratives that tackle real world issues and give voice to historically underrepresented groups.

Our 5th play and 2nd in an anthology of Wilde Circus stories is Ember; directed by Peter Withers, with combat choreography by Peter Withers and Erika Petra, dance choreography by Solvang Faerie Fest’s Clau Orona, and with a special appearance by The Faerie Fest Faeries. Script by Violet Bast. 

Show contains adult language and some sexual themes.

TICKETS: $20 general, $15 students
