UCSB Dance Company

Following its tour of Italy, the UCSB Dance Company gives its final performance of season

The UCSB Dance Company, the fourteen-member senior performing ensemble of the Department of Theater and Dance, will conclude their 2010/2011 season with a performance in Santa Barbara on May 25 at 8pm, Center Stage Theater, Paseo Nuevo. The company is directed by dance faculty member Delila Moseley.

At Center Stage the company will perform their touring repertoire:

Elastic Flip

Choreography: Nancy Colahan, faculty member Lumi

Choreography: Sulijah Learmont, senior BFA dance major Up, onward, and around

Choreography: Mike Esperanza, guest artist God Gave Them Eyes for That

Choreography: Mira Kingsley, faculty member Dragusaga

Choreography: Valerie Huston, faculty member Speeds (excerpt)

Choreography: Jennifer Muller, guest artist (NEA Grant Awardee)

The closing work on the program will be Speeds (excerpt) by seminal choreographer Jennifer Muller.
